The Ministry and the Department of Labour will hold its tenth and final ‘Labour on The Blocks’ Job Fair, for the year, this coming Saturday, December 8^th, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Department of Labour at its City Corporate Center Office on Rosetta Street. This will mark the final ‘Labour on the Blocks’ Job Fair for the Ministry after holding ten successful Job Fairs so far this year.

Saturday’s job fair will be a special construction job fair mainly to hire employees for Ocean Cay. Job Fair organizers will be seeking to interview and hire plumbers, electricians, foremen, labourers, carpenters, steelmen and masons.

Persons attending the ‘Labour on the Blocks’ Job Fair are asked to bring their NIB Smart Card and a valid Government – issued ID such as a passport or voters card and copies of resumes. Before entering the job fair, persons must complete the online registration at JOBSEEKERS.BAHAMAS.GOV.BS

A press conference will be held at the Job Fair at 12:30 p.m. at which time the Director of Labour, Mr. John Pinder will update the press on the event.
