The Ministry of Health confirms that there are three (3) new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New Providence. This brings the total number of confirmed cases to fourteen (14).
The latest confirmed case is a forty-one (41) year old female with no history of travel, and unconfirmed links to previous cases. This person remains stable and is in isolation at home.
The second case is a forty-four (44) year old male with no history of travel and unconfirmed links to previous cases. This person is hospitalized and remains in stable condition.
The third case is a sixty-seven (67) year old male with a history of travel, but with no direct link to previous cases. This person is hospitalized and remains in stable condition.
Health officials continue to follow the condition of the other eleven (11) COVID-19 positive cases. None of the previous cases announced are in hospital, and all are in stable condition.
Members of the public are reminded to follow the Emergency Powers (COVID-19) Order announced by Prime Minister, the Most Honourable Dr. Hubert Minnis to reduce the spread of the virus, including physical distancing.
