The Cabinet Office wishes to advise the general public that Wednesday, January 10, 2018 will be observed as Majority Rule Day Public Holiday. As a result, stores wishing to do so may open for business on this holiday during normal business hours.
Further, employers are to note that employees, who are normally not required to work on holidays and do so on Majority Rule Day, must be paid wages in accordance with Section 10 (a) of the Employment Act. | ||||
