The Public is hereby advised that pursuant to Section 59 (1)(b) of the Parliamentary Elections Act, the Presiding Officer writes the Voter’s number on the Counterfoil; and not on the back of the Ballot issued to the voter.

No writing which might identify any voter is placed on the Ballot by any official overseeing the conduct of the voting.
